Crane Dance Trio

Awesome dance music and brilliant performance of best Swedish brand

Inspired by the cranes in springtime Crane Dance Trio presents a musical landscape of compositions and improvisations briskly mixed with traditional material. With hypnotic polska’s, sly hallings, polonaises and waltzes they invite the listener on a journey to the western part of Sweden - and beyond.

Jonas Simonson and Mats Edén met in the legendary Swedish folk band Groupa in 1983 and they have played together ever since. Their intricate interplay has developed during many years of making music together and along with the guitarist Mattias Perez’ creative and flexible playing they form the trio Crane Dance Trio. The trio performs on a big part of Jonas Simonson’s first solo album, Crane Dance, released June 2007 on the label Nordic Tradition.
