Swedish-Norwegian folk music! Beautiful songs mixed with rhythmic dancing tunes

The musicians in this quartet live with the music. Powerful sounds and swirling melodies grow out of the unison playing.
Oleman is a Swedish-Norwegian group that plays music mostly from the west coast of Sweden and the southern border areas between Sweden and Norway. Oleman was formed at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, and consists of four experienced folk musicians.

Most of the repertoire of Oleman are dance tunes - polskas, waltzes and "schottis", mixed with beatiful ballads, lyrical love songs and narrative songs about sailors, princesses and adventures in foreign countries.
