Ras Kerrys is a performing artist whose music can be characterized as fusion of alternative and instrumental rock, hip hop reggae, acoustic folk to African Caribbean jazz on marimba and African beats on djembe.

His last album “I AM JUST COLOURLESS” came out in June 2015. Its title and lyrics are expressing his strong statement against racism and inequality in society. - „We are like water, we are colourless.“ –

By cooperating with Musiker Mot Rasism, he is engaged in various anti-racism cultural events and projects in Göteborg. For example #vistårinteut, Festival Illegal, workshops of djembe and marimba in local schools for kids and teenagers. Ras Kerrys, originally from Zambia, is experienced in playing small and large stage performances. Some of the previous concerts and festivals he performed- Planeta Festival´15, ´16, Bob Marley Tribute 2017 (Göteborg), FIFA World Cup 2010, Camphill Village Festival 2014, Rock in the Daisies and Synergy Festival in 2010 (Cape Town, South Africa), Bob Marley Anniversary 2012 (Lusaka, Zambia) and much more... Many people are comparing him to Bob Marley as expressed in the reference from one of his performance at a festival: „From the moment Ras Kerry and his band stepped onto that stage I immediately thought Bob Marley had just come back to earth to entertain us. Ras Kerry has a certain aura of someone with a message.“
